i know, i know  she is like 7 and a 1/2 months already.  but it has been crazy ’round here.  and with the time change it has been getting dark when i get home from work.  so as i said….better late than never.  not really any stats to report this time either, because she did not go to the dr. for a well check.  i’m guessing she weighs about 16 lbs, and some odd ounces.   she eats all kinds of baby foods and has now started on finger foods.  she can now “officially” crawl, but prefers the inch worm.  she still thinks her brother is the funniest ever, but now she thinks other people are funny too! she still has just her bottom two teeth (see her halloween pictures for proof – oh nevermind…you can see them here…duh) but we think more are coming.  that’s all i can think of right now, but i have some super cute pictures of her to share very soon!

I’m sure you are all ready for the stats now right?  Well, here they are.

weight: 14lbs, 15 oz  (see she didn’t pass Ri up yet)

height: 24.25 inches (only the 8th percentile, not as long as she looks)

head: 16.25 inches (plugging along steadily)

dislikes: laying on her back (especially when you want to change her diaper), having her hair washed, wiping her face, an empty bottle.

likes: listening to music and dancing withdad, watching and laughing with her big brother, anything that feels good to chew on (still no teeth yet), pulling Ri’s hair, puffs (well really all food), and a full bottle.

she also has a few new tricks.  as you can see, she can sit up by herself for a while (of course mindy was very close for our photo) and she does not get too upset if she tips over on the carpet.  and she can also get up on her hands and knees and rock back and forth.  when she is playing on the floor, she manages to move herself quite a bit, not really crawling yet, but still can get off her play-mat when she wants to.  i promise to get some pictures of her starting to “crawl” real soon.  plus i have some cute shots my friend nancy took of her to share soon too.  and don’t forget to check back for halloween costume pictures real soon too.  all the kiddos have their costumes now, and the baby’s are matching….he he he.

yep, already.  i know it doesn’t seem possible that she could be that old already.  time has gone by so quickly. before you know it she will be turning one.  i do have to say that she just gets cuter by the minute though. and as she gets older she can do way more.  she is almost able to sit unsupported, and she can now sit in a high chair at a restaurant.  she rolls over both ways, and tries to tuck her knees up and scoot on her belly to get what she wants.  she eats all of the #1 baby foods {like peas, green beans, carrots, squash, sweet potatoes, applesauce, pears, prunes and bananas} as well as rice and oatmeal cereal.  she weighs 13 lbs and 15 oz. she smiles and laughs all the time.  she likes it when daddy makes her dance, and big brother talks to her and acts silly.  she really wants to play with her cousin, but he is always grabbing at her face, so the mommies don’t let them get too close so no-one gets hurt.  that about sums up my little sweetheart.  total love for sure.
