i know, i can hardly believe it either.  she is growing way too fast, and i really think she should stop it right now!  i think it’s been a while , so i thought i would share an update with all her stats, mostly because we went to the doctor for a well check and its still fresh in my mind.

weight: 21lbs 8oz         height: 30.5 inches

development:   she can say lots of words (eat, shoes, pretty, eyes – as she jabs her finger into yours, pretty, ball, dog, fish, dada, papa, no-no-no – in the sweetest little voice, ahhhh- a very consistent sigh/noise for any of her baby dolls, and of course baba – which of course means bottle, as well as sippy cup, water – like when we drink bottled water, capri sun pouches, and cups with a lid and a straw.  oh yeah and bubba – which sounds a lot like baba.  she walks more than crawls, but will do so to get where she needs to go, she is starting to run but is still pretty unsteady, she can climb up into cooper’s chair – where she usually asks to eat-eat, she can climb up the stairs, and she likes songs and nursery rhymes  like pat-a-cake and dancing.

likes:   eating (pretty much anything you give her, but this week it is fresh strawberries and raspberries, and peanut butter sandwiches)  going swimming in the pool with the family, bath time, playing with any of her brother’s toys that he does not want her to touch, kissing her cousin, and going bye-bye.

dislikes:   being told no, the new cabinet locks on the doors, when her brother takes toys away from her, when the food is gone, and when she doesn’t get to go bye-bye.

and of course, a picture of my little sweetheart – ♥ her!

but not the photo shoot.  as you can see, she was in no mood for my camera…well actually she was mad at me because i wanted her to sit and smile, and she wanted to push the stroller around.  she kinda came around…but not for long.  oh well, love her anyways!

just because i think she is so beautiful, and she makes me smile every day. ♥ you baby girl, mom.

as you can see she enjoyed her cake!  shortly after these were taken she ripped off the hat & grabbed her cousin R and covered him with frosting too!  mommy (me) was smart this time and ordered a light colored frosting.  i remember Coop’s nose being stained green and blue for about a week after his party!  when we thought she had enough, we took the cake away, and of course she protested; but she needed a quick bath in order to get back to the party.  over all it was a lot of fun and she seemed to handle it all well – no major melt-downs.  i do think she liked the paper and bows more than the presents, but she loves all of her toys now . thanks to everyone ♥

it was a big day today…the last day before the big day….my baby girl is turning one tomorrow.  we will celebrate with family and a few close friends tomorrow (so come back soon to see some smashed cake).  and today my baby girl got her bangs trimmed….yep her first hair cut.  later we went to grab some dinner at the district, and she just had to bring her baby doll with her.  as you  can see from these pictures  she loves her baby…what you can’t see is that her poor baby doll takes quite a bit of abuse.  she often shoves it head first into her stroller.  and i can’t even count how many times it has fallen out of the stroller and been ran over or stepped on.  good thing its washable!  i will add an update on her stats later this week along with some party pictures!

i think she is just soooo pretty!

i knew the minute i saw this dress she had to have it.  but i waited.  then of course i couldn’t find it in her size.  finally, grabbed it from the sale rack some time last month.  and there it sat.  with less than a week to get some valentine pictures done, make a card, send it to be printed, and mail it out, i was giving up hope.  then today, i just thought, forget all the plans for a big valentine shoot, and just get a few pictures…and it’s a good thing i did.  don’t know how much longer the dress will fit (oops).  while she was not the most cooperative 10 month old, on the front porch, in the cold, when mama wouldn’t let her eat the rocks, i do think i got some keepers!  (maybe sometime i will post the one of her eating the rocks). anyways i still {heart] this dress! and of course i {heart} my baby girl!
