These were taken June 26th, at a near by park. C fell as we were getting ready to go & gave himself a pretty bad bruise on the side of his head…but I still got some good shots before he got hurt.

June 30, 2008As most of you know, I’m going to be an autie soon. Mindy and Scott are expecting their first, a boy, at the end of September. Mindy has already promised to let me take some more pictures as she gets closer to her due date. And of course I will be the little dude’s official photographer. I can’t wait to get my lens on that little guy… and of course his mommy & daddy….but for now these will have to do. As you can see from the side, she is getting quite round but still looks adorable in her bikini. Check back later for more photos of the baby bump.
Skater Boy
June 26, 2008This is my little skater boy. Isn’t he cute. I was a little scared when dad said he bought him a skateboard. There is a reason we call him “crash”! But dad did good and got him all geared up with elbow and knee pads and wrist gaurds and a cool helmet. And as with most “new” things, C took to it with style. He was trying to do tricks his first time out. And now he thinks he’s ready for the skate park. Too bad I’m not ready…maybe when he gets a little bigger!

June 21, 2008So this is what I’ve been spending a majority of my time doing. I am loving how much I am learning and improving my photography skills. And it makes me happy. I love to see what kind of images I have captured, and feel the emotion behind them. It has also been a challange to figure out all of the technical stuff too.

This is my sweet baby with all of his teeth. Tomorrow he goes to have his front right tooth pulled out. If you look real close you can see that it is shorter than the other one. Several months ago he fell in the parking lot, and “broke” the bottom 1/2 of his tooth off. I use the term “broke” loosly because the only evidence of the incident was a white line on the black asphalt. Yup I almost lost it when it happened. Anyways, tomorrow is the big day. Dad said he would take him to T for a toy if he was a tough guy. And he’s pretty excited about the whole tooth fairy thing that he’s been hearing about from his big cousin A. Hopefully he will let me get some pictures of his new smile soon!
