4 months {and two days}

i know, 2 days late this time, but the 28th fell on a tuesday this week, and H did not have a dr’s appointment until today, and i wanted to include her stats, and my artist {a.k.a mindy} was not available, and….well that’s enough ands, i know you just want to see the pictures!
here are the stats:
weight: 12 lbs, 12 oz {i thought she would be closer to 14 lbs based on those rolls}
length: 23 1/4 inches
likes: bottles {obviously}, eating food {rice cereal, pears & veggies so far}, watching C play
dislikes: being hungry {still}, not being held in the upright position
development: smiles, coos, laughs, rolls over from back to tummy,
grabs and holds objects, holds head up well, and sits well with support
that’s all for now, but i have more to post soon hopefully.

lookie who got some new hats in the mail…yep miss H. my friend heather made these for her. and i must say she looks adorable. also wanted to say how awsome heather’s hats are, and how much she rocks for sending them to H. thanks again heather. {love}

{play}

yep she likes to play. when she’s not hungry or tired, she can lay in her pack-&-play for quite a while. she grabs at the toys and coos and talks to them. it’s just so darn cute. baby girl, i {heart} watching you play!

an interview with C

me & C went out last weekend for a little mommy/big boy outing. he lets me take his picture and we spend time together telling jokes, playing and of course some food…today it was a muffin from panera. i always try to get some shots before the food, you know….to keep the shirt clean. well to my surprise, i was able to get a bunch of good shots before our breakfast and he was still willing to indulge me after our stop at panera…and the shirt was still clean! of course we had to document his boo-boo & batman band-aide….he is just too cute even with an injury! while i take his picture, i try to distract him from the usual “cheeeeezzze” smile by talking to him and asking tons of questions. this is what i got on this day:

favorite color: black and purple
favorite food: pancakes and muffins from panera (really?)
favorite toy: legos, star wars and transformers (um…no surprise there buddy)
best person to play with: daddy & uncle scotty
favorite thing to do with mommy: play board games
what to be for halloween: a clone trooper
i’m sure there were more, but that’s all i can remember for now.
C- i sure had fun with you on our special outing together…..love mommy

100 days

100 days of joy…………………….100 days of happiness……………………………..100 days of love…………….oh and 100 days of diapers (hehehe). I still can not believe it’s been that long already. It feels like just yesterday we were waiting to see if she could come home from the hospital or if she needed to stay on the bili-blanket. And since my last update, just last week, she is changing already. She is growing out of her 3 month cloths, especially her jammies, which are too short in the legs and feet. And today I’m pretty sure we heard a laugh! I’m going to have to be more diligent with my updates, with all these changes happening so fast! More pictures to come soon….I promise!
