Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it. {Confucius}

for some reason this photo speaks to me.  it just seems to fit with things right now.  one of my goals this year is to embrace my surroundings.  so in an effort to do so, the boy and i went out to this spot i saw driving home one day.  while part of it had natural desert landscape, there was also a dirt path and several old tires along the edge of the path.  my boy found this “stick plant” as he called it on the ground and asked me if it was pretty.  i think he is doing better at finding beauty in our surroundings than i am.  ♥ you little man. thanks for showing me the way.
